![]() ![]() How could this possibly be deemed an acceptable and effective business practice? I will advise everybody I can to avoid Mr.Tire and go to an establishment whose prices are competitive and fair. I?m not saying they should charge at the break-even point, but it should definitely NOT be an upcharge of 250%. That is an overcharge of $610 just by how they price their parts (NOT including labor/service). Doing the math, I can purchase all of those parts for my car at $370 compared to the $980 charged by Mr Tire. On the Autozone and Advance Auto websites, br ake pads for all 4 tires price about $70 ($35/set), and one rotor is only about $75. ![]() That would be ok if I owned a cement truck, but I own a 2011 Subaru Legacy. Auto repair, oil change, new tires, discount tires, brakes, battery replacement, inspection, towing and other service appointments are available same day. $280 for brake pads for all 4 tires, $700 for 4 rotors ($175/rotor), $160 for labor, and $100 for service/adjustments. Pep Boys Cranberry Township on Rt 19 has everything your car, truck or SUV needs. I was charged over $1200 for brake pads and rotors. I will NEVER go back to MR.Tire ever again! The prices that you charge for parts are absolutely ridiculous. ![]()
